“We are always in the process of becoming who we are, and that who we are is always in a state of change”
Carl Rogers

We will work together to explore what matters to you.
I offer both face-to-face and online therapy sessions to accommodate your needs and preferences.
Hello and Welcome
My name is Jade. A counsellor and psychotherapist based in St Albans. I am an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
I support individuals in creating the changes they need to rediscover balance and confidence in their lives, and I’d be honoured to support you too. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, stress, family issues, loss, trauma, low self-esteem, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to help you make sense of it all. I offer a space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported. No issue is too big, too small, or too complex.
My counselling approach is person-centred and built on creating a warm, empathic environment, where you can feel valued for who you are. I believe therapy can help to enhance growth, bringing about meaningful change, and I am committed to working alongside you as you navigate this process.
I have a particular interest in supporting clients in navigating the lasting impact of trauma. When trauma isn’t resolved, its emotional, psychological, and physical effects can linger, shaping how we think, feel, and relate to ourselves and others. I recognise that trauma is not only an emotional experience but can also be deeply held within the body, manifesting as physical tension, discomfort, or disconnection. As a therapist, I provide a supportive space to explore these challenges, where you can feel understood, with the aim of helping you process the effects of trauma and reconnect with both your mind and body. Healing is possible and there is a way forward.
The decision to start therapy often comes during times of vulnerability and I understand that reaching out for support can be one of the most difficult steps to take. Many people feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or unsure of where to start when they enter counselling, and that's completely okay. I will support you at your own pace, honouring your unique experiences and perspectives.
I deeply respect the individuality of each person I work with and understand that everyone’s story is unique. I acknowledge the diverse experiences, backgrounds and identities that shape ways of being and have a genuine desire to understand how you see the world and what your experiences have meant to you, without judgment. Our work together will be collaborative, safe and supportive, allowing you to explore aspects of yourself in a way that feels right for you. The space I offer is yours, to be led by you and what you need.
Your story matters.
